Busy in Venlo
In general, Saturday is the busiest day in the city center of Venlo. Many people also plan a fun day out to Venlo around the traditional holidays.
Due to its location on the German border, Venlo is a popular city for our eastern neighbors. Around the German holidays they make the most of it and enjoy a long weekend. A visit to the city center of Venlo is a regular occurrence for many of them.
These are Labor Day (May 1), Corpus Christi (May 30), German Unity Day (October 3) and All Saints' Day (November 1).
Busy hours in Venlo
Generally speaking, on Saturday the city is vibrant with people shopping, people enjoying their weekend on one of the many terraces or on a stroll. Venlo is very popular with our German neighbours as well, especially on German holidays there’s usually a lot of people celebrating their day off with a shopping spree.
